Ruta is the editor of the Cutting Edge: a newsletter for people living with self-inflicted violence. She is on the staff of the Sidran Institute and Witness Justice, serves on the board of the National Trauma Consortium and is a program manager for the National Center for Trauma-Informed Care, and serves as a consultant to various local and federal projects.
