Bryce and Tom Mackie Bio 2009 speakers
Bryce is a 21 year old college junior from Michigan. At age 17 Bryce produced an award winning film about his experience with depression and suicide called Eternal High. In January 2007 he was diagnosed with Bipolar 1. Bryce is currently making his second film, this one addresses his Bipolar experience and attempts to reduce the stigma associated with psychiatric hospital care.
Tom Mackie has experienced depression himself. He has become an advocate sharing his experiences from a parent's perspective.
